| About Northwest Fire Careers Winter 2003 Edition Your source for information about Firefighter jobs in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska. Northwest Fire Careers offers a firefighter job information publication that focuses on Fire Departments located in the Pacific Northwest. The latest edition contains current entry level Firefighter employment information on over 35 Northwest fire departments. This publication is packed with information about firefighter salaries, working hours, department size, retirement systems and most importantly, hiring information! This information includes firefighter examination dates, how many positions might be available, and important contact addresses.
Service Improvements The Winter 2003 Edition offers two important service choices. Historically entry level Firefighter job announcements have been unpredictable and the actual job opening can have a very short application time period. In order to remedy this problem and to provide better information to our customers, these changes have been made. There are 2 service option plans. In both service plans you will receive the basic NWFC publication which is loaded with information about firefighter jobs in the Pacific Northwest. As a NWFC Team Member you will have access to the NWFC update website. The NWFC Update Website will show changes and additions since the NWFC publication was printed. With the second option plan you can become a NWFC Team Member with Email service. The main advantage to this option is that you will receive email job announcement updates as examination information and/or changes become available.
